Olivia Blouse
Olivia is a composite of several source materials. The tunic blouse bodice came from a vintage pattern from 1934. This bodice has double tucks that shape the bustline and are stitched into a peplum that begins in a point under the bust and finishes at the hem. The sash and cowl scarf came from this same pattern. This blouse is stitched in white rayon satin and buttons up the back. The long sleeves with gauntlet cuffs featuring pearl seed buttons were inspired by a fashion plate from around the same period. The collar, cuffs, sash as well as the buttons at the back are made in contrasting sapphire blue rayon satin.
