The Maxine ensemble is a tribute to 1930s active wear. Maxine's high-waisted jumper has four darts at the front and a long rise consistent with the period. The jumper is stitched in black cotton twill. The left side closes with large white buttons. The right side has a pocket set in the side seam. You will note the full legs in this silhouette. The slacks have a 2 1/2" cuff. White top stitching frames the bib, waistband and straps.
