Trude

This feminine sundress was recreated from a vintage pattern from 1953. Trude is stitched in a pink and white cotton gingham with cherry print. The bodice of this dress has a sweetheart neckline and gathers at the lower bust. This is attached to a shaped middrift yoke that creates a smooth line from under the bust to waist. The two gores of the front of the skirt gather at the waist to add fullness to the skirt. The skirt back, however, is smoothly attached to the back bodice. Trude has wide shoulder straps that gather into the bodice front and back.
