Rose

$230.00

Rose is an early 1910s cotton afternoon dress that is deceptively complex. The front bodice is princess line separated with the one-inch tuck highlighted with pink cotton piping. The 1" waistband finishes with point at the center front and features 1/4" top stitching. The curious, however not terribly functional, patch pockets are framed in pink piping. The top of the pocket threads underneath the waistband and buttons over the top. It has a long slit opening. The long four-gore skirt is trimmed in an eight-inch band. The sleeves are smoothed capped and have a double cuff; one of floral print and white broadcloth curved cuff with pink bias applique trim. You can also see this trim on the zigzag collar. The front of the dress closes with hidden interior buttons at the skirt and navy blue pyramid shaped buttons at the bodice.
