Make two parts in wet hair saturated with setting lotion, one from the center of each eyebrow.

Comb the center portion of hair toward the back and twist into a rope curl.

Now take hair from part to ear on each side and comb upward, press into a wave and turn the end curls backward. Pin.

Comb the back hair straight and turn the ends into several rows of pin curls. Dry under net, then comb the back curls into a single roll or fluff them out. Comb the front sides into waves as shown in the photograph, leaving the center front in contrasting smoothness, which terminates in the back center curl. The sleek look on top is especially good for the girl with and interesting hairline and not too round a face.
